Our Process

Our Process

    Initial Meeting

We start by scheduling an initial one-hour consultation. During this first meeting we will gather information, identify the issues and your goals. Then we will explain the options you have and the recommended strategies that are available to you.

At the end of this meeting we will quote you a price for the planning we can do for you. Most of our services are provided for flat price. Your investment in a successful plan will give you financial and emotional benefits to protect assets and make things easier for your family.

It is helpful if you can have a good idea of what you have for assets and provide this information to us prior to or at the start of the initial consultation. You may download our Estate and Long Term Care Plan Questionnaire here: estate-and-long-term-care-plan-questionnaire

    Design &
    Implementation

Once you decide to hire us, we work closely with you to design your plan. We will either schedule a meeting or teleconference to gather all additional information we need. Then we prepare all documents and/or applications. If there is anything we need you to do, we give clear instructions so you are not confused.

    Maintaining
    Your Plan

For estate planning clients, we ask that you contact our office every few years to review your plan to make sure it still makes sense in case of any legal or personal changes.

For long term care plans and Medicaid applications, we ask that you contact us once per year after the initial plan or application. It is important that we keep contact in the future with enough frequency so that we can be as proactive as we can with your planning needs.
